Here comes the final assignment for 2-Dimensional Design of Semester 2. In this assignment I have to create a monogram. What is a monogram? It is basically a logo created with the initials of someones name, in this case, mine, so yay! I created the monogram with the initials of S and M, for Sher Ming, duh. Anyways here are some sketches I made. This assignment is very reminiscing to the first assignment of Printmaking in Semester 1.
A simple yet awesome effect created using the technique of immersing paper into a tray of water with oil based paint.
How to do this effect?
1. Take a A3 sized tray, any tray big enough for your paper.
2. Pour in some water until the depth of water reaches around 1cm.
3. Drip some oil based paint, black and white.
3. Swirl it gently until the desired pattern is achieved.
4. Dip the paper and leave in for a while.
5. Take it out and enjoy your masterpiece.
Here are some that I made.
