Yes, my friends and I attempted the Spicy Korean Ramen Challenge! My fellow coursemates and I filmed the full session of our taste buds being burned alive by this spicy b*tch. Link to video below.
For your information, the ramen we ate was the Samyang Foods Budalk Bokkeummyeon Ramen, which was rated by theramenrater.com the 3rd spiciest ramen in the world. No kidding. Initially it was tolerable, but the heat slowly built in our delicate mouths to the point of intense burning. Milk didn't help either. So for the next 30 minutes we were screaming in pain, not shown in the video because of shame, constantly trying to cool our mouths.
Although spicy as hell, the taste was really delicious. I even bought myself another packet after the session. I don't think my friends will return to eat this again though. Personally, I would rate this ramen a 4.6/5 and highly recommend my fellow peers to try it, remember to film yourselves too haha.
