To be honest I didn't really started making my artworks until Monday night. Not that I was procrastinating, I just had a idea blockage. Suddenly 15 minutes before my Contextual Studies class, I had a rather unexplained eureka moment. Ideas flowed in continuously and I quickly took out my sketchbook before the concept disappears. I drew it out and told myself there isn't time to waste, I had to quickly start working on it since it was 4 days to the deadline.
Drafts of artworks
With no time to waste, that very night I started working on the first one artwork The Friendship Void since it was in geometrical shapes, so it was easier to cut.
The Sketching and Marking Process
I measured it out and marked onto the sugar paper. It was a really inconvenient way of making this artwork, but since it is a collage, it has to be cut and pasted *cries*. The work begins...
The next day, I started working on my second artwork. For this particular artwork I wanted to give it a black background with some clouds, so I spray painted the background black and the clouds with a white spray paint from far, to give the gradient effect. It turned out better than I expected!
Next came the part of making the tower, which made me become an architecture student for a second.

Now the tricky part, how do I get a model to be the person looking at the smartphone for me? I can't find any in Google, so I became the model myself. Thanks to my awesome friend Tina who took a picture of me after class lol.
